Lähdettyäs - Heino Kaski: Kauneimmat yksinlaulut Heino Kaski (1885–1957) was a romantic of Finnish art music whose solo songs have captured the hearts of listeners from generation to generation. The CD “Lähdettyäs – Heino Kaski: Kauneimmat yksinlaulut” celebrates the work of this magnificent composer, bringing together a selection of Kaski's finest solo songs. In these compositions, one can hear longing, the beauty of nature, and deep emotions that have made Kaski's music timeless and easily accessible. The songs on the album are interpreted by tenor Eero Hartikainen and bass Jari Parviainen, whose voice types bring exceptional depth and diversity to the songs. Hartikainen's lyrical tenor and Parviainen's powerful bass create a dynamic combination that brings Kaski's music to life in an entirely new way. Kristiina Puolitaival sensitively accompanies on piano, giving each piece the atmosphere and tone it deserves.
